Our first stop on a trip through Portugal turned into a seven-week stay, and it exceeded our expectations. The cottage is divine, tucked into the mountains around Ferreira do Zezere with amazing views. It has everything you need and was clean. Vera was a lovely, welcoming and helpful host, and we really liked Irene, the cleaning lady. We loved the quiet and made the most of the hikes and lakes nearby, as well as exploring neighboring cities and towns. The town is a 10-minute drive away. We’ve fallen in love with the area and will be back. We highly recommend staying here.

The house was functional and very clean, and the lovely garden was well kept, with shady spots for drinks and meals. The east-facing terrace stayed shaded in the late afternoon, making it a nice place to relax outside. The setting was very quiet and restful, with magnificent views of the mountains and the Zézere River bridge. Everything was perfect.

Out in the countryside beside the Castelo do Bode dam, with excellent scenery. The house is small, but very nicely designed and pleasant. Ideal for couples holidaying locally.

A magical house in the middle of nature, with nothing around except beautiful scenery, peace, and quiet.
