Villaverde Azores

Tiago and Anna were incredibly responsive and did more than expected to make our stay memorable. We loved the thoughtful, delicious welcome treats and the lovely gardens. We stayed in the Milhafre house at Villaverde Azores, and the apartment was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. You could tell they’d put a lot of thought into how it was decorated. I’d highly recommend Villaverde Azores Guest Houses and hope to return.

A great spot to relax and enjoy some time off. The village is beautiful, the host is really friendly, and the house is cozy with everything you need. Definitely 5/5.

The host was lovely and proactive, and gave us all the information we needed. We loved the house and the area around it. It had more than enough for a holiday stay in Sao Miguel.

The villa has a really cozy feel, and the bed was so comfortable. The garden is lovely, and the equipment was great, with everything we needed inside. Tiago was very helpful with the booking and suggestions for visits. We recommend villaverde and appreciated the local products and map of good places to see that welcomed us. There were lots of thoughtful little touches. A couple of things weren’t ideal for us: there’s no air con, just three fans, and we really felt the heat during the last few days. The large windows are all opaque, which is good for privacy, but we’d have preferred to see outside. The shower leaked a little too, though it wasn’t a major issue.
