What a rare find. The owner was so friendly, informative, and special, and the house and its setting have loads of character. Beautiful, unique, and absolutely perfect. I couldn't recommend it more.

We loved our stay and felt right at home. Inês and her husband are so friendly. My daughter says the best part of the trip was meeting Cacau and Taco, the dogs. Breakfast was excellent too. Thanks, kisses!

We only stayed two nights, but came back to a freshly cleaned room, which we hadn't expected and didn't really think was necessary. The whole house is warm, the rooms are cozy, and the games room is spacious. Inês and her husband were lovely, polite hosts who made us feel completely at ease. Breakfast was delicious, and the place is huge. It was worth every euro for how welcome we felt. We'll return in spring or summer.

The welcome was attentive, warm, and full of empathy and humor. We left with lovely memories of Portugal and its people. The place itself is rare and unique, with a historic building, a superb garden, a large, well-kept pool, and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Fabulous and remarkable.
