Bachareis Charming HOuse

After a day of cycling, we were greeted so warmly at Bacharéis Charming House. It's a lovely place, with some of the original woodwork carefully kept and restored. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The hosts asked what we liked and made sure it was all available. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay here again on our next visit.

We felt so at home that we decided on the spur of the moment to add an extra night. The staff were friendly, our room was cosy and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice, was delicious, and felt lovingly prepared. You can spot the care put into the renovation in all the little details.

The welcome was so warm, and we loved the delicious breakfast. The hotel itself is clean and full of character, in a great location. We'll definitely come back.

The welcome was a real highlight and stayed warm and friendly throughout our visit. It's a lovely little hotel in the old town, conveniently placed for getting around, but away from Figueira's main beachfront so it's a calmer spot. The hotel has been newly renovated, with original features alongside contemporary touches. The architect and owners clearly put a lot of thought into the details, including historical reminders of people who lived there before. There's a cosy lounge with an honesty bar, and breakfast is good. I can't remember the name of the homemade salami-style meat, but give it a try. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is a little small, though that's understandable in an existing building. There's a lift, but the steep steps may be difficult for some people. Thanks to the owners and staff for a lovely stay. I'd happily come back, and recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.
