Residencial Elisio

The breakfast was much better than we expected, really good. When we arrived, we rang the bell and a very friendly man came right away to check us in and hand over the room key. The room was reasonable for a guesthouse, with old but comfortable beds and a bathroom that was big enough for two. I recommend it for the setting, breakfast, and friendly welcome.

I wasn’t happy with the breakfast arrangements. I went where I’d been directed at 8 in the morning, but, as I was told, the café was closed on Sunday. I was supposed to enter by the ramp and open the door, where people would already be working, but the door was locked and there were no lights on. I went back to reception, but nobody was there to hear my complaint or take the room key. I left it on the counter and went away. I had no complaints about the cleanliness.

For the price, it’s good value. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, breakfast was generous, and there’s private parking. I’d give it five stars if the room didn’t need some renovation.

The room was tiny and had carpet, and the bathroom needs work. The shower stall had a broken door and leaked water. Check-in was a bad experience, although the cleanliness was acceptable. I wouldn’t stay again.
