The village is beautiful, and our stay was perfect. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service was friendly and efficient. Tania, our host, was very capable and helped us a lot. We hope to return someday.

We loved the location inside the castle walls, in a very typical little village, and the place has been recently renovated. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, though the decor wasn't quite our style. There were thoughtful extras, like cookies and tangerines in the room, and tea, almonds, and cookies in the living room in the evening. Breakfast was magnificent, with lots of local products, homemade marmalade, and bread. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was great, and we'd happily return.

A nice place, though the road leading to it is very narrow.

We spent a night here while visiting Portugal's historic villages. The house is wonderful, with excellent service and a superb breakfast. It's a magical spot right by Castelo Rodrigo Castle.
