The wooden villa was spacious and really cozy, and I spent a wonderfully relaxing weekend by the pool. I treated myself to a stay at the newly opened ecolodge, “Quinta do Ícaro,” for my birthday, taking a day off from my busy routine. It sits in a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, with a communal design that lets you join in with others if you want to. The villas have everything you need if you'd rather stay in and eat there. The materials, linens, amenities, and souvenirs are eco-friendly and carefully chosen. The hostess at reception was so welcoming, and there was a basket of local products waiting in the villa. In the evening, the fire pit and optional lighting give the place a different feel. I really recommend it, both as a local and as a visitor. Best wishes to the couple who made their dream take flight! 💚

So quaint and relaxing. The seven A-frame cottages are lovely, set among beautiful grounds with a pool, BBQ, and fire pit.

The host greeted us so warmly, then showed us around the property and the house. Everything was perfect. It's in a beautiful, very quiet location, and I'd strongly recommend staying here if you get the chance.
