The neighborhood felt safe, quiet and almost like a village. Lisbon’s buses didn’t seem very reliable, and the timetables felt like pure fiction, though they did get us there eventually. Taxis were affordable too, under 6 euros to the airport. Marcos was helpful and kept in touch, and the guest house itself was cozy, clean, stylish and well equipped. The walls are thin, so from our room beside the shared kitchen we could hear everything going on there. It was a minor issue, and having a fully equipped kitchen was a great bonus. We had a fantastic couple of days and I’d definitely recommend the guest house.

I’ve visited many European countries, but Portugal was new to me, and I felt a welcoming atmosphere as soon as I arrived at this ROOM DREAM BEATO. I can see why people say Portuguese people are kind. To me, it felt like the warmest country I’ve ever visited. My wife and I are on our European honeymoon, and the hotel manager and his friend decorated our room with balloons and cute little decorations. They weren’t expensive props, but to me the gesture was worth a million dollars. If you’re from Japan or Korea and feel worn out by a harsh world, I’d say come to Portugal and spend a few days here. The people staying here all seem kind and nice, maybe because of the energy of room dream beato. 😊👍🏻

Clean rooms, friendly people and free parking outside. It’s very nice and well situated, and I’d recommend it for a trip around Lisbon.

Everything was sparkling clean. The area has a nice, almost countryside feel, but town isn’t far away. It’s well located, the people are nice, and the sea is very close.
