Independente Bica

Some of my travel companions can’t make the trip because of the war in the Middle East. I asked whether the hotel could work with me on a later booking given this unforeseen situation, but they charged the full amount and wouldn’t make an exception. The front office emailed that they wouldn’t help because I hadn’t chosen the refundable rate. I didn’t know a war was going to break out. The customer service was terrible, and I’d tell people to stay somewhere else.

The rooms are small, but they suited us perfectly for a short trip. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were lovely, and the location was amazing. We’d definitely come back.

The rooms are on the small side, though they have what you need. The staff were great, especially Nelson. With public transport, the city center, bars, and restaurants close by, this is a great Lisbon hotel. I’d highly recommend it.

My friend and I stayed here on our own and had a relaxing time. The hotel is lovely, and the staff were great. It’s only about four minutes from the central square and the ocean. We had tea, coffee, and water in the room, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend it.
