Marco made check-in easy and was quick to respond with lots of useful information. The apartment was very clean and had enough room for two. The bathroom works, but it’s cramped, and getting around the big door would be easier if you were slim. The frosted glass walls might be unusual for some guests. The neighborhood feels more touristy than traditionally Portuguese, but I felt comfortable there. It isn’t as steep as some areas, though Uber, Bolt, or the metro to Martim Moniz are the easiest ways to get around.

I had everything I needed here, from a great bed with a cozy, comfortable mattress to a fully equipped kitchen. The place was spotless and lovely, and the host paid close attention to all our wishes. It’s also well placed for walking to sights or catching transport.

We stayed on the third floor, in an apartment with a double bed on a mezzanine and a fold-out bed downstairs. It was comfortable and had plenty of useful things, including Wi-Fi, a TV, washing machine, and kitchen appliances. The shower could use better lighting. The stairs are steep, so they may be difficult for anyone with limited mobility, though our group managed fine. It was a charming place, and the location was excellent, around a 5-10 minute walk from central Lisbon.

Some of our things went missing from the room while it was being cleaned. The location was nice, though.

The stairs are a big part of the experience, so you’ll be fine if you don’t mind climbing them. Otherwise, it’s livable.
