Lisbon Alegria Apartment

The neighborhood was pretty nice, and despite a few frustrations, we had a good stay. The apartment itself is clean, attractive, and well located, with a comfortable bed and a shower with great pressure. We appreciated the bottle of water, too. Getting in and out with luggage was tough because the staircase is VERY steep. The photos can be confusing since some show other apartments in the building. We got one large and one small towel per guest plus a tiny hand towel, and had to pay extra for more. There weren’t enough coffee capsules either, and no tea, which felt like a basic thing to provide. Communication was only available during office hours, so at 9:00 am we were on our own with questions. On checkout morning, the nearby “affiliates” for baggage storage were shut even though Google said they opened at 9:00. Fortunately, someone living upstairs at the SECOND place we tried came down and opened the door. It made checkout pretty frustrating, and there was no one to speak to at the “office.”
