We were so grateful to meet Vera and Helio and stay at their Villa Faya. They were gracious hosts and always available whenever we needed anything. The home was very clean and well appointed. We'll treasure our memories on Terceira. Thank you, Vera and Helio. Jay and Michelle

Helio and Vera's warm, friendly welcome is what I'll remember most. This is a lovely rental on Terceira, with reasonable rates and a private garage. The villa is well equipped, with air conditioning, an oven, microwave, TV with Netflix, washing machine, and more. It's well placed for the island's main attractions. You do need a car, but getting around to everything is easy. Thank you!

I'd be wary of booking this place. I reserved Villa Faya through Booking.com in March for an August stay, but at the end of June the owner told me I couldn't stay because he'd rented it to other people for six months. By then I'd already bought tickets to Terceira Island, and nobody was willing to take responsibility for their cost. The house may be beautiful, but I wouldn't risk booking here after this complete lack of professionalism.

The owner was friendly, but the house we stayed in wasn't the one shown in the photos. He gave us no explanation for putting us in that annex.
