Casa Da Várzea

We could easily have stayed longer and made more use of the facilities. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of local wine and listening to the wildlife was so relaxing, and the view from our room was lovely. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for self-catering. Breakfast was a highlight, with amazing scrambled eggs and a different homemade cake each morning. The pool area was beautiful, and the hospitality and attention to our needs went above and beyond. We’ll definitely return. 10 out of 10.

There’s lots to do around the house, and the pool area is just perfect. We loved the beautiful design, cozy feel, and delicious food. The staff were cheerful, caring, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. They do such a great job. We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful place and will be back. Thank you! ❤️

We only had three nights, so we’ll need to return to enjoy everything else Casa da Varzea has to offer. The apartment’s terrace looked out over green hills, and we loved the large, clean pool and the restaurant, where homemade comfort food was made with local products. The estate is set in a peaceful natural spot, and the owners and staff clearly care about cleanliness, kindness, and good service. The owners are hands-on, attentive to guests’ needs, and put on delicious meals and plenty of activities. Our spontaneous booking turned into the luckiest find and a wonderful stay. A great spot to slow down and take in nature. The food was fantastic, and the service was high quality. The rooms were quiet, clean, and really comfortable. I liked the mix of modern, premium facilities and old-school character, all surrounded by beautiful nature.
