Everything was perfect apart from the heating, which wasn’t good.

The hosts were very friendly, and the facilities are new, with a great kitchen and very competitive prices. It’s an excellent stop for anyone doing the GR22. The village has wonderful views of the Serra da Estrela and sits in an area with huge potential for nature tourism.

The place was well equipped, clean, and quiet, and I have nothing but good things to say. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and available to help. There’s nowhere to eat in the village, but they offered to share a contact for ordering pizzas. And the price? Thank you very much!

We stayed at the hostel instead of going straight to Serra so we could make better use of the following day in the snow. It was well organized and maintained, and the staff were phenomenal. Definitely worth it.
