The noise was so bad that I spent less than half an hour in the room before leaving. I booked for two nights late the evening before check-in, but the apartment is right beside a busy road, with constant traffic. I couldn’t sleep or even stay inside. It gave me a headache straight away. I contacted the host immediately to say I couldn’t stay, but he wouldn’t make an exception or refund the booking. Booking.com got me back the cost of one night only, leaving the second night unpaid back. I had to urgently book a hotel and move out that same day. It’s also a low-standard room that looked nothing like the photos. Although it was listed as an “apartment,” it was more like a tiny, poorly furnished room, uncomfortable and well below what I’d expect for the price. Check-in was badly organized too. There were no clear instructions beforehand, so I had to contact the host on arrival day. The messages were long and confusing instead of giving practical details, and he kept asking how I was instead of providing the information I needed. It seems some rooms might be quieter or better than others, so staying here feels like a gamble. I wouldn’t risk my comfort, money, or peace of mind. It’s also strange that I can’t rate the stay on Booking even though I was charged for one night.
