Luiz was very attentive and helpful, sharing lots of tips, like how to catch the bus and where to find a supermarket. We didn’t have a car, and the location worked well for getting into town and back. Thank you so much. My partner and I spent some beautiful days here and loved it. The accommodation is divided into several small apartments, each with a kitchen equipped with everything you might need and a nice bathroom. The garden was gorgeous, full of plants and colourful flowers, and I loved the view from the pool.

The accommodation is a little outside Funchal and has a pool and very warm, friendly hosts. I didn’t get to meet them during my stay, unfortunately, but they were quick to help over messenger. There’s a bus to and from Funchal, so getting around wasn’t a problem. You can see all of Funchal from your lounge chair 😁 I’d recommend it 10/10 if you’re after somewhere non-touristy and a little offbeat.

The views across Funchal and the sea are beautiful, and the place has everything you need. I’ve stayed twice now, and it’s been comfortable both times. Luiz is a very welcoming owner. I highly recommend Casa do Poco.

I wouldn’t recommend booking here. The availability calendar wasn’t current: it showed the place as free, so I booked my flights, then just five minutes later I was told the property wasn’t available.
