The terrace and its sea view were the standout for me. Inside, the apartment is modern, well equipped and comfortable, with secure parking on site. There are essential shops within 100 meters since it’s part of a shopping complex. You can walk to the city center, about 4.5 km along parks and walkways. It’s a handy base for seeing Madeira, while still making it easy to have a relaxed stay, and I thought it was good value.

We spent two weeks here in January and would happily come back. The apartment suits a couple well, though with only one bedroom it’s not really set up for four unless privacy doesn’t matter. It’s well furnished, and the kitchen has loads of utensils; we did find a small extra saucepan useful. The position next to the Forum shopping centre is convenient, close to the seafront promenade and several restaurants. Buses into Funchal are handy too. The Managing Agents were really helpful.

The location is very convenient, with an underground secure parking spot included and the downtown about a 10 minute drive away. There’s a large shopping center, lots of restaurants and shops, and a taxi stop within a 3 minutes walk. We arrived after hours and were greeted warmly at the property. The apartments are comfortable, in a high-end residential district.

I slept well on the very comfortable bed, and the linen was good. The flat is spacious and well equipped, though the sofa could be better. There’s noise from the road out front and a steady machinery sound from the shopping centre behind. Bus routes to Funchal centre are very close, and they replaced the broken microwave oven for me.

The mountain views were beautiful, especially at sunset, and the apartment itself is lovely with nice decor. Pubs and supermarkets are very close by. I had a great welcome and would definitely return to Lucas apartments. Thanks so much!
