Five Design Rooftop by Storytellers

We were on the 5th floor in apartment 7, with elevator access. The apartment was spacious and very clean, and its big terrace added extra room and a lovely city view. The location is right in the middle of town. We'd stay again.

The view over Funchal from this high-floor apartment was stunning, and its central location made it easy to walk to the main shopping street, Santa Maria street and the Market Hall. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Entry by code was smooth once we got in, and the fast Wi-Fi was free. The toilet was leaking, though, and the AC helped a lot with drying our clothes. Breakfast was left on the door before we got up, with plenty for two: pastries, fruit and juice. Our flight was cancelled, so we booked only 30 minutes before check-in. The operator hadn't noticed the booking, and when I called after check-in time, she was surprised. We waited about 20 minutes for the access code. After that, everything worked perfectly. I'd recommend this accommodation.

We appreciated the generous breakfast, and there are two grocery stores very close by. The apartment is lovely and centrally located, with a rooftop patio we enjoyed. Construction began on the neighboring building on Monday. It wasn't too much of a problem during the day since we were out, but a compressor kept cycling through the night.

We loved our stay. The one-room apartment was big, spacious and very clean, with everything needed for cooking except turners. A large supermarket is just 5 meters from the door, and everything else is close too. Nights were quiet, while mornings were noisy, but it was nice to get up and see and hear people.
