The rooftop is a lovely spot for looking out over the Atlantic, and the open-air layout makes the mall pleasant to walk around. There’s a good spread of big fashion names, plus a large Pingo Doce downstairs that’s handy for everyday shopping.

Finding a place to park was easy. There’s a reasonably sized underground car park at the centre, and plenty of nearby street spaces that cost a little less. Inside, it feels modern and has a broad mix of shops, from international chains to local brands.

There’s a lot here, including IKEA and plenty of clothing shops such as Pull and Bear. The restaurants are on the top floor, with McDonalds and KFC among them, and escalators make it easy to get around the large centre.

Easy to get to, and the food court has some nice choices. Just don’t go to KFC if you’re in a hurry: I waited 20 minutes for a basic chicken bowl. Otherwise, it’s a small, typical mall with the usual shops.

We ended up coming here almost every day, for meals and little vacation needs like extra socks or a replacement baseball cap. There’s plenty of choice, it stays busy, and the opening hours worked well for us. The place is clean, tidy and feels safe. I’d recommend it.
