We stayed for 13 days and had a wonderful time. Cristina was super friendly, and the apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our vacation. There’s a small garden where we could eat homemade dinners or have wine or beer. We parked along the road on the hill. It was easy with our car’s hill-start assist, or you can come from the top. The location is nice, about 15 minutes from the center, though what counts as the center in a city as big as Funchal? The bus comes here too :D

Cristina and her husband were so helpful. They even picked us up at the airport, and there was a bottle of Madeira Wine and cake waiting for us. The apartment was well equipped, with a sea view and an outdoor seating area with a table and chairs. It’s close to bus stops, which came in handy for getting back from town. We just got back from a really great stay and would gladly return.

A quiet spot with an amazing view and a fantastic little garden. The apartments are well equipped, and the host was friendly. It’s away from the town noise, but still not too far to walk to the city centre. Thanks for a lovely stay, we enjoyed it!

Cristina is a lovely host, and the apartment is really nice. We have a private balcony and a washing machine in our unit. There’s a lovely view over the city and a nice walk into Funchal. I’d recommend the place to a couple.

Christina met us on arrival, and the flat was clean and had a washing machine with powder, WiFi, soaps, and a TV. We were also welcomed with a bottle and cake. She helped us plan tours and bus trips. There’s a bit of a walk up the hill, like in most parts of the island, but the friendly bar halfway up was a welcome stop. Hope to come back soon.
