We could watch the cruise ships coming and going from the great harbor-side location, right on the lido promenade. The view was lovely, and the building felt secure. Inside, things were a bit dated but still nice. Our room had big windows, though no balcony, despite us thinking it would. Not every room has one. There isn't a shared spot to sit and enjoy the view, either. The pool is unheated, and in the off season the chairs are chained up.

A peaceful place with a pool and tennis court. Praia Formosa is nearby, and Forum Madeira shopping center is just a few meters away.

Such a welcoming atmosphere, with ethnic decor and lots of travel keepsakes. Don't miss it!
