The little extras were much appreciated: milk, jam, margarine, a nice country-style loaf, juice, coffee and tea, plus a Nespresso maker with pods. There was a lovely assortment of good-quality tableware and glasses too. The place was clean and had a beautiful city view, and I loved staying here. The location is great, and the number 34 bus runs to and from Funchal. The bedroom also has a nice view and a door onto the patio.

The balcony was marvelous, with views of the city and sea, and a lovely spot for breakfast and dinner. In July, during our one-week stay, the temperature inside was perfect. There were lots of comforts, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and Smart TV with Netflix and Disney +. Everything else was perfect, though we had a small issue with parking. It's far from the city center.

The bus stop was only a few meters away, and we used the bus during our second week. Before that, we rented a car at the airport, and the directions made the apartment easy to find. We arrived in the evening and were met for check-in. The first thing we noticed inside was the impressive, wide-open view. We had everything we needed and more in the kitchen, including 4 different coffee makers and even a wok. The apartment was stylish and very comfortable, with good-quality mattresses that let us sleep like angels. We had breakfast on the balcony while watching boats and cruise ships, cooked dinner there too, and made plenty of use of the hammock. The WiFi was excellent, and we often used the iPod dock. The apartment matched its description and all our expectations. We had a memorable holiday and will surely return soon.
