A fully furnished holiday apartment for four, with a lovely view over the sea and Madeira Forum.

We couldn’t use the balcony because of renovations, even though the rental was advertised with a balcony and ocean view. There was no solution or compensation offered. Workers were out on the balcony every morning, which really disrupted the relaxing holiday we’d hoped for. The ground-floor balcony doors also weren’t locked, and someone broke into the apartment while we were out. The worst rental experience I’ve ever had.
