The terrace quickly became our favorite place to unwind, with plenty of room for the table and a lovely view from the hill. Our apartment was just below the pool, and it had everything we needed, from lots of towels to dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent. Air conditioning in every room made it really comfortable. Rosa greeted us so warmly, and the cake and wine were such a nice surprise. The woman and man who stopped by early in the morning were kind and helpful too. We did spot one cockroach, and some bathroom fittings are worn. It didn't bother us, though it may disappoint anyone expecting five-star hotel conditions. The kitchen and sofa area is small, and getting to the bathroom is a bit awkward when the sofa is opened up. We really enjoyed this particular apartment and would recommend it. You are great! ❤️🌷🤗

The apartment itself was clean and functional, though it had no charm. The bigger problem was the location. The road right outside Villa Oliviera is extremely busy, noisy, and feels dangerous, with no pavement by the front gate. From our upper balcony, the nonstop traffic was almost directly below us. The sea and mountain views in the online photos and the many comments about a “great location” gave us a very different impression. We had booked five weeks, but after arriving I immediately asked the owner if we could shorten our stay to one week. She showed no interest and simply replied, “Not refundable.” We’ve also booked the neighbouring flat for our daughter and young children in January, and now we're worried about walking them along that road. Be aware before booking.

The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for a nice holiday. It was a shame the weather wasn't right for using the pool. ☺️😂

A beautiful place to stay, and highly recommended. The only snag was the automatic door lock: sometimes it took a few tries to open from inside.
