Luxury View Apartment Funchal

We stayed a week in apartment A-6 and were very comfortable. We paid about 680€; there were only two of us in this two-bedroom place, but four people would fit fine. With one bathroom, though, four guests would have to queue. The kitchen was well equipped and had a washing machine, and the furniture was comfortable. Good Wi-Fi, lots of mosquito screens, and we made it through without bites. There are a lot of keys to keep track of, along with a security keypad. The summer balcony is small but has great sea views, and there’s another balcony that’s more sheltered for winter. Being high up meant we didn’t notice road noise, though there was a distant cockerel that could use a roast dinner. The seafront is only a ten-minute walk away, before the steep streets begin, and there are plenty of nearby bars and cafes. It seems like a place you could live in long term. We were happy to return for the 2023 flower festival, this time in 5a, and it was every bit as good.

Cristina and Ricardo were friendly, polite, and very professional. They shared all the useful information we needed for an unforgettable stay in MADEIRA, and we’ll definitely come back. The place is really well located and fully equipped, with a truly amazing view and very comfortable beds. For us, it was the best place to stay.

The landlady was lovely and kept in touch with us throughout. There were cute, delicious surprises waiting for us too, thank you! The apartment was pretty huge and had all the equipment we needed. I highly recommend it.

We had plenty of space, a wonderful view, and the apartment was spotlessly presented. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the seafront, in an area that feels lived in rather than oppressively touristy. With parking included, it was a perfect base for exploring the island. Communication was easy and prompt, and check-in and check-out were both hassle-free. Very convenient location. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it.
