The hosts were capable and clearly committed to making sure you have a lovely stay. The apartments are fantastic and right in the centre.

Filipa's support was superb, and it made me wish we'd stayed longer in Funchal. We moved on to other parts of the island and different accommodation after a short visit, but the island distances aren't that great, and this really was the best base, both for the apartment and location and especially for the help from Filipa. The first thing that caught my eye was the nice photos, so I asked about renting. The staff, especially Filipa, replied quickly and were friendly, kind and professional. She also arranged an airport transfer, which made everything easier. Once we arrived, Filipa met us at the flat and shared all the tips we needed. We were right in the city centre, with the famous Marketplace only about 50 metres down the street. Parking is the one thing to sort out if you're staying here and exploring the island by car. Because of our complicated flight connections, we had to leave a night early from another flat with 'the heart of Funchal'. Cancelling was easy and uncomplicated, and we even got a full refund. If I return, I'll stay at "The heart of Funchal" again. Thank you, Filipa and Co!
