The apartment's location was great, with restaurants and most of Funchal old town a 10-20 minute walk away. The apartment was a nice, spacious place with a kitchen, daily cleaning, and pretty good WiFi. The parking spaces were incredibly tight and felt dangerous to enter and leave. There were also a lot of mosquitoes in the unit and ants in the bathroom. Maybe that's specific to Madeira, but the ventilation wasn't adequate.

We had good WLAN, and the apartment was nice, near the old town, with a beautiful harbour view and daily hotel-style cleaning. On the downside, the bedroom and living room were separated only by stairs, and there was loud construction nearby. Getting out of the parking lot was difficult, and the TV channel selection was limited, with no German channels.

The place is quite spacious and a good option, with Mercado dos Lavradores about a 10-minute walk away. The only issue was the tiny parking lot downstairs, which was hard to get in and out of.
