Studios Funchal by Petit Hotels

Marisa was an excellent host, very friendly, informative, and helpful. We had an excellent 10-night stay and would definitely consider coming back. The studio was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and well presented and maintained. The ensuite shower room was practical and spacious. The kitchenette had a sink, fridge, microwave, electric hob, kettle, toaster, iron, and ironing board, along with a dining table and two chairs. The twin beds were very comfortable, and the Mitsubishi air conditioning worked excellently. There were two narrow balconies. A shared roof terrace had seats and other things, though we didn't have the time or need to visit it. The ground-floor reception area was vast and very nicely presented. It was a great base for exploring Funchal and traveling farther afield by public transport or tours. The convenient bus stop and tour pick-up point were just a minute's walk away. The Cathedral and the Mercado were about five minutes away in opposite directions, and a very good supermarket was two minutes away. The area felt very safe and was busy with locals and tourists.
