I haven't been inside these apartments, but my relatives rent a house 10 metres away, so I know the area. Virtudes is one of the best parts of Funchal, and I’m actually thinking of living there in the future. It’s safe from the elements, especially water and fire, and close to a hospital, school, and continente supermarket. The city centre is easy to reach, about 5 minutes by car, 10 by bus, or 15-20 on foot. The Viarapida entrance is nearby too. The apartments were just completed, and when I watched them being built, they looked solid and professionally done.
