The place is isolated, with no shops nearby, not even a bakery, and the roads leading there are quite dangerous. While we were there, the apartment was dirty and very hot, with slippery, unsafe stairs. The fires forced the fire department to evacuate us. I asked the owner to end our stay early because the roads were closed, smoke was everywhere, and the air was impossible to breathe. She insisted there was no danger and that I wasn't telling the truth, even though she kept asking whether we'd closed the windows when we left. I couldn't believe our safety seemed to matter so little. I wouldn't recommend it. Avoid it.

The house is well equipped, and the quiet village setting with mountain views suited what we wanted. There aren't any shops, though, just mobile vendors who bring things like bread and frozen food. One upstairs bedroom window couldn't be opened for fresh air. The double bed and mattress also need replacing, since they creak with the slightest movement.

We had a lovely stay in August 2021. The village is very peaceful and the people are friendly, and the house is really spacious. It accepts pets, which matters a lot to me when we go on holiday. The nearby river beaches are very good, too. I only wished there'd been a clothes-drying rack and stronger internet. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. A great choice for a quiet holiday.
