Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of variety and quality. The large garden and beautiful pool were a lovely place to unwind, and the house itself is amazing, with a roomy, comfortable bed and a delightful bathroom. Miguel, the owner, was so kind and welcoming. We also found a great restaurant in the village and were lucky to see the transhumance in Alpedrinha, an unforgettable experience. Pedra Nova in Castelo do Novo made for a peaceful, beautiful stay that I'd recommend to anyone looking to rest.

The owner and staff were friendly and professional, and the property was good value. It's beautifully furnished with bespoke pieces and modern appliances, in a historic village. The garden has a pool and lovely views over the hills.

With only four rooms in the building, it felt quiet and restful. The owner is a very nice person and runs the place professionally. I loved the pool, sauna, food, decor, and service. The prices felt fair for the time we spent there, and I appreciated the stay enough to want to come back someday.

Pedra Nova has a breathtaking setting, and the service and quality were first class. Our host Miguel was phenomenal. If you enjoy visiting Portugal's historic villages, this is a must. I hope to return as soon as I can.

Miguel made us feel right at home in this cozy, lovely decorated place. The sauna's a good spot to unwind. I had an absolutely amazing stay and would come back whenever I'm in Castelo Novo.
