Quinta da Mó

We loved our house, and the staff were very accommodating. The sound of rushing water nearby was soft and relaxing, too. Furnas is in a great spot, with restaurants, landmarks, and nature spots all within walking distance. Thank you!

We spent 7 nights here, and this is easily the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. With plants and lush vegetation all around, the grounds feel like a tropical oasis. Quinta da Mo really is paradise on earth. Luiza is so warm and kind, always happy to chat. She and Luiz had great advice about places to visit and eat, and helped us experience authentic local moments. Breakfast was perfect, served in a charming little house surrounded by bamboo, with the best coffee. Pamela was lovely and made our room perfect every morning. We’ll never forget this stay. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

You get the best of both worlds here, a peaceful setting surrounded by nature, yet everything in Furnas is within walking distance. The facility is stunning, with comfortable studio apartments, private parking, and a great breakfast. There’s a sauna, steam bath, and even a hot tub on the river that passes right through the property. A great place to relax during an adventurous holiday in the Azores!

The little houses are tucked into a lush garden with waterfalls, and each one feels quiet and private. Ours was ideal for two, with a full kitchen and lots of windows, yet still felt secluded. They’ve thought of small but useful things too, like providing an umbrella and cooler. Service was exemplary, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Restaurants, Terra Nostra garden, a grocery store, thermal pools, and more are all walkable. There’s a hot tub and sauna on site as well. GREAT value.
