The campsite is very outdated and needs serious investment and maintenance. I think improvements would raise its review score. Its location is wonderful, though, and the staff are lovely and helpful. It’s also close to the beaches.

The location and staff are excellent, but the site needs major maintenance. There was mould growing on the ceiling of the sanitation block, which should be dealt with immediately for the health of people who use it regularly. The shower block felt like one in a prison camp. I wouldn’t return unless I knew it had been modernised.

We loved the place. The location is excellent, the area is lovely to visit, and it’s good for cycling. We paid 19€ with ACSI. There’s a small motorhome and camper area, perhaps 10 large and 10 small pitches. The facilities worked well, though they’re old-fashioned. There are lots of bungalows to rent, plus even more caravan and large awning setups that looked permanent and were mostly unused at the time.

I arrived for one night and found a campsite mostly used seasonally by older people in large tents. That doesn’t excuse the bathrooms: they weren’t properly clean or ventilated, there was no paper, and some toilets didn’t work at all. It’s expensive for what they offer, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless there’s no other option. The time-based taps also felt condescending, rather than having normal taps.
