I was here in February, off season, and had the whole dorm to myself. The beds were proper beds, no bunks, and the bathroom was modern. There was good heating, and the towels and bed linen were provided and top quality. Breakfast had lots of options and cost an extra 5 euros.

Helena welcomed me with coffee even though I hadn't booked, which was especially lovely because I was freezing. The room was great, and she pointed me to a grill restaurant in the village where the meat was super tasty and very cheap. Breakfast cost an extra 5 euros and was generous. I’d gladly recommend Casa de Azzancha to a friend.

After a few days on the Camino, having a washing machine, coffee and such clean, lovely rooms was a real treat. We had to add another day because of severe weather warnings, and Helena checked that we had everything we needed. She even brought over some cake she'd made. She greeted us warmly and made sure we were settled from the start. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Helena was so kind and welcoming, and the clean space had everything we needed to unwind after a day on the Camino. That charming yellow patio was a favorite. This has been our best stop so far, and I highly recommend it. Bom Caminho!

Helena arranged for the restaurant owner to pick us up at 7 pm and take us back afterward. For €12, the pilgrim meal was a feast: bread, cheese, olives, soup, salad, grilled meats, a drink and dessert. Back at Casa de Azzancha, our room was ideal for us and extremely clean. Breakfast was €5 and plentiful, and I highly recommend the place. A wander around the picturesque village is a must too. Our stay began with a warm welcome and a tour of the facilities. Helena, the owner, was incredibly attentive. This has been the best place we've stayed on the Caminho so far.
