A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "Lusitanus" is located in Golega. This hotel is located in the city center. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Casa - Estúdio Carlos Relvas, Mercado de Sant'Ana and Parque Municipal Tenente Coronel Jaime Filipe da Fonseca.

A really peaceful setting right in the centre of golega, above the stables. The host was fantastic, and the location was great.

A very pleasant place to stay, and seeing the horses is a bonus.

The location is good, and that's about it. The accommodation is poor and needs its furniture renewed. There was mold in the bathtub, old wood, and a very uncomfortable mattress with worn, hard springs. The minibar was switched off when we arrived, and no one had bothered to turn it on beforehand. There was no shower gel in the bathroom. When we asked for shower gel or soap, we were told to use the hand soap, as that was all they had. There were also stains on the pillow. Waking up to horses neighing was an interesting experience. The welcome was not very friendly. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I stayed here while on the Portuguese Way pilgrimage to Santiago. The inn was very good, and there were Lusitano horses at the entrance.

The air conditioning and TV were the saving graces. The accommodation was poor, and the bathroom had only hand soap, with no shower gel or shampoo. The hair dryer was broken and badly twisted. The price was reasonable, but I expected better. I don't recommend it.
