The restaurant was a real highlight, with a 5* menu and an unusual range of delicious dishes. Sofia and Wellington deserve a special thank you, along with the other friendly, smiling waiters who treated us so kindly. We also loved the original design, spacious areas, bars, lounge, and outdoor section. From our room on the 6th floor, the panoramic windows and terrace right over the river gave us an amazing view. It's a great place to stay for a weekend in Porto or a few extra days, and I'll definitely come back when I visit again.

The views from all the rooms were very appealing. I was pleased with the reasonable price, especially given the quality of the facilities and service. The staff were kind and helpful throughout my stay, and the hospitality was wonderful. I'd recommend the hotel and look forward to staying again.

I had a great time relaxing on my balcony and looking out at the river, and the room was excellent and completely quiet during my stay. João gave my girlfriend and me a brilliant welcome. We arrived a little early without realizing, but only had to wait ten minutes for a room. I used the gym three times and enjoyed being able to put MTV on while running. The small indoor pool was perfect for cooling down. Breakfast had plenty of variety and local treats, plus baked beans that suited my British taste buds. Honestly, this hotel made my Porto trip. If it had let me down, the whole trip could have been ruined. I'd definitely stay again. Thank you.

There are plenty of facilities here, including a work area, gym, spa, and two pools. During my business trip to Porto, I decided to try Douro Riverside and was glad I did. I got a warm welcome at the front desk, checked in quickly, received a free upgrade, and was shown to my room. It was spacious and very clean, with a large bathroom stocked with everything needed for the stay. At the restaurant on my first evening, Hugo looked after me brilliantly. He seemed to know what I needed with just a quick glance. Hugo, keep that up, and I hope to be your guest again soon. This definitely won't be my last visit.
