The quiet was lovely, with birdsong now and then, and the accommodation was impeccably clean. We also loved the furniture, which suited the village-house style. This was a typical stone village home, exactly the sort I adore. D. Manuela greeted us warmly, handed over the key, and let us settle in for a heavenly weekend. There were plenty of dishes for serving meals, plus ingredients for cooking and a Doce Gusto coffee machine to finish things off. I’d definitely recommend this traditional house in the Gouveia area.

Dona Manuela was very attentive and always ready to lend a hand, so I want to thank her here. The house has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a kitchen, along with a fireplace and a roomy dining table. It’s an excellent place.

We’d definitely come back. The house was lovely and cozy, a great fit for a family or a group of friends. Many thanks to d.Manuela for welcoming us so warmly and being available whenever we needed her. Congratulations, and thank you so much, d.Manuela.
