Tim and Saartje made us feel at home straight away. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our family holiday truly special. You can tell how much they care about the place and how passionately they bring it to life. The accommodation was comfortable, spotless, and well suited to a relaxing family stay. Everything felt simple and thoughtful, in harmony with the surroundings. Our daughter loved exploring, especially swimming in the pool, a real paradise for kids and parents alike. We spent a wonderful week at Quinta da Estrela, surrounded by vast, peaceful spaces and wild, unspoiled nature. It was just right for relaxing and reconnecting. We have precious memories of the week and highly recommend Quinta da Estrela to anyone seeking an authentic, peaceful experience in Portugal, away from mass tourism. We hope to return soon!

Tim and Saartje were the best hosts. Thanks for a magical stay! The views and setting were wonderful, and the clean house had everything we could need for a holiday, and more. We came with our two children, aged 13 and 10, and they loved the place too.

The hosts are very helpful, and the cabins come fully equipped with everything you need. Quinta da Estrela is a magical place, a little off the beaten track, with spectacular views. The area is stunning, with hikes, small medieval towns, and loads of castles to visit. I was there in November, so I can only imagine how lovely it would be to float in the pool and enjoy the scenery.

The hikes nearby were a real highlight, with trails through peaceful, beautiful countryside. Back at Quinta da Estrela, the grounds felt charming and quiet, and our accommodation had everything we could have wanted. Saartje and Tim made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They brought so much enthusiasm and care, and their local tips helped us plan walks and visits. The beautiful setting put us in holiday mode straight away. We had a wonderful stay and are already hoping to come back.
