The long, unpaved driveway might put you off at first, but the place itself is a slice of paradise. I stayed here with family and a wedding party, and the ceremony took place on a beautiful platform with an incredible view. The hosts were so accommodating. Everything was perfect, and the weather and views were unbelievable.

The house is comfortable and spacious, with tasteful decor, and the setting is incredibly quiet. Those uninterrupted views all the way to the sea are hard to beat. We spent many evenings having sunset cocktails in the last of the day's sun and taking it all in. Pinhal Da Coutada is a perfect escape. Dom took such good care of us, thank you. We’ll be back, and I couldn’t recommend it more.
