Our stay at Vila Monte Lusitano in Grândola, Portugal, was calm and comfortable, with plenty of charm. The villa was well kept and equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen tools and pool towels to other thoughtful extras. The hosts were attentive and communication was excellent throughout, so the whole stay felt easy and stress-free. A great choice for a peaceful getaway, highly recommended.

The next day, my girlfriend sent a message and got a reply straight away. I’d already messaged on WhatsApp and heard nothing, then called the number on the website two days later. The man said he’d respond as soon as I sent the message again, but he never did. I’m Black and she’s white, and that’s clear from her WhatsApp profile photo. I can’t help wondering if we were treated differently, which left me uncomfortable and with a bad impression of the accommodation.

We loved Monte Calmaria and would like to come back. It worked really well for our group weekend, and the house was clean and tidy, with everything we needed. The rooms had comfortable beds and bedding, and the place was beautifully furnished. The pool and jacuzzi were clean too, and the animals were very well cared for. The area is lovely and easy to reach, close to supermarkets but quiet enough to feel peaceful. Sr Paulo and the whole team were excellent and very helpful. Great for friends or family.

The team were really friendly and available, and the place itself was beautiful, peaceful, and clean. We had a great weekend here. Thank you so much!
