We love Melides and enjoy being somewhere quiet and close to nature, so Nomade Melides suited us perfectly. The outdoor deck overlooking the natural pool is beautiful and relaxing, and a lovely place for little kids to explore. A big part of our stay was Karen and Fabrizio, who looked after the space and made and served breakfast every day. They’re both wonderful. My 19-month-old was especially taken with Karen, who was so kind and sweet with him. He still talks about her every week! I couldn’t believe they were leaving the project in a few days. We’ll certainly miss them.

The next morning’s complimentary breakfast was the best we’ve ever had, honestly. Everything was fresh from the garden or locally made. The owners have thought through all the little details, and the pictures really don’t show how special the place is. There’s a lovely man-made swimming lake for a refreshing dip, and every room has a patio with a hammock. We felt like we were on a second honeymoon, just relaxing. We were lucky to find it only a few months after it opened, and wished we could have stayed longer. I can’t say enough good things about it.

The natural swimming pool is fantastic, and the houses are beautiful and sustainable. The hosts were great, too. Breakfast was generous, with lots of local products. Such a lovely place to reconnect with nature, and definitely somewhere I’d return to.

The owners make you feel more like family than guests. The property is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and cozy, and breakfast is amazing. A wonderful place.
