Cosi. The staff were warm.

The pool was lovely, and breakfast was delicious and homemade. Paula was so attentive and thoughtful throughout. I only stayed for two days, which felt far too short. It was peaceful, private, and comfortable, and I’ll definitely come back for a longer stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant few days. 😉

A great place to recharge. The rooms were comfortable, the homemade breakfast was good, and the pool was really clean and pleasant. Paula was excellent at reception and always available to help. I’ll definitely return, and I recommend it. 💫

The room was clean, and breakfast was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room opened directly onto the dining room, with a window facing it, so there was no privacy at all. We could hear people just a door away. The meal was very poor: stewed veal with reheated fries, followed by tinned fruit salad. We also couldn’t get a hot shower. The owner said it was because there were “a lot of people,” which makes little sense if the place is full and guests can’t all shower with hot water. I was uncomfortable seeing three dogs chained up, one with lots of ticks. They didn’t look well cared for, and that didn’t seem hygienic for a place that also welcomes children. The foosball table and bicycles were there, but the table was rusty and sitting in the middle of a dirt track, and the bikes were in similar condition. I don’t understand the glowing reviews. I relied on them when choosing this place, and was disappointed.

The owner kindly made cancelling easy and refunded the entire booking, which was a relief because nothing about the place made us want to stay. At check-in, the reception felt neglected and unwelcoming. Dogs were barking, some loose, and there was nowhere to park because the spaces were taken by old cars and derelict camper vans. The playground was dirty and overgrown with dry weeds, and a foosball table was falling apart after being left out in the sun and rain. The property may once have been lovely, but now it looks dry and uncared for. The photos on the website and Booking are misleading. I don’t know what happened, but there seems to be a clear before and after the pandemic. I’d avoid it.
