Doña Edith, Mr. José, and Anabele were so kind and helped us with everything. I arrived late, and Doña Edith even made me a sandwich with such care. The furniture and rooms are old, but the place was tidy and very clean. I'd take cleanliness and friendly people over new Ikea furniture any day. Breakfast suited me perfectly: simple, with everything prepared really well.

For the price, it was better than I expected, especially after reading a few less pleasant comments. The room was clean, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the AC worked, so it stayed warm. It's a simple guesthouse that could use quite a few cosmetic improvements. The location is good, with quick access by car to the center of Guarda. Breakfast was basic but didn't disappoint.

The facilities were so awful they made me feel sick. The room smelled musty, the bathrooms were old, and the quilts seemed older than my great-grandmother. They smelled dusty and foul, as if someone who hadn't bathed in a week had used them. It felt like they hadn't done a proper clean in years. The shower had a big hole in the door, so water escaped the cubicle, and its spray split in two directions. There was nothing to hold on to while showering with both hands free. The toilet areas were old too, and I went with a baby. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. They should rethink renovating the place. Service was good and breakfast was average. The hotel da pombeira next door costs €10 more, but you can stay there decently and leave without the attack of rhinitis from all the dust in the pillows.

The room smelled of mold, the bed creaked a lot, and the WiFi kept dropping. The bathroom was tiny and the toilet was loose. The simple breakfast was mostly disappointing, with only the bread fresh. For what they charge, this guesthouse feels a bit poor. It urgently needs renovation.
