The view and sunsets from the balcony and pool were beautiful, and the location worked well for sightseeing. Our longest drive was about 50 minutes. You’ll need a car to explore Madeira anyway. We were there for 10 days, and the team made the stay lovely. We were a family of four, and the villa had what we needed: three showers, plenty of bath towels, hand and shower soap, body lotion, tea towels, and swim towels. There’s a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, and iron too. The kitchen was equipped for cooking all our meals, and having dishwasher soap and laundry detergent supplied was a nice extra. The team’s manual is worth reading for tips and instructions, including how to sort recycling. The villa has air conditioning, a large on-site parking area, and Wi-Fi that worked like a charm. We didn’t heat the pool in July, since it wasn’t necessary with temperatures between 22 and 28 degrees.
