My favorite restaurant in the north. When we're staying in Guimarães, we go there for lunch every Sunday. The view is fantastic, the service is really friendly, and the food is great. I recommend the mushrooms and the fish with tomato rice. You'll love them!

For a peaceful night's sleep and birds singing in the morning, I'd recommend this place. It's 6-7 km from Guimarães Castle and the town, in a quaint, century-old stone building surrounded by the beauty of the Penha.

We only went to the restaurant for lunch, not to stay at the hotel. The meal was delicious, the views were great, and the service was great too.

We only went to the restaurant, not as hotel guests. The location is good and the view is excellent, but the place is very run-down and could be cleaner. The bathrooms are hard to access and badly in need of urgent maintenance. Poor value for money. The fish fillets were good, at least.
