The restaurants just below the rooms made quite a bit of noise, though it may not matter as much in the back rooms. Fortunately, my night was chilly and the noise didn’t go too late. The historic center of Guimarães is absolutely charming, and I’m glad I spent 28 hours here and got to see almost everything. Service was fabulous, the location was perfect, and the price very reasonable. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had unlimited hot water.

Ideal for a night in Guimarães’s historic center. The hostel was good and centrally located, with a kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave, and fridge. Free breakfast was a big plus, and towels were included. It cost around 18€ per person.

The owner was cheerful and helpful, and everything was so clean, including the toilets, bathrooms, and rooms. They were careful about the pandemic. It’s right in the center, with a beautiful view of the castle at night. I definitely recommend this place.

The breakfast was amazing, with a different variety every day, and the starting price is so good. The staff were excellent and gave good travel suggestions. The premises were nice, comfortable, and clean. It’s right in the middle of town and so far the best accommodation option.

Ricardo and Joao, the two guys keeping the hostel running, were kind and accommodating, with great tips for going out and eating. The place was clean, the beds were comfy, and the bathrooms stayed clean. Showers were hot, soap was provided, and the WiFi worked. Breakfast was self-service, with all the basics. I only missed having hand towels in the bathroom. A very pleasant stay, especially for the price.
