The rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can walk to the city center, and parking outside is easy.

The staff were A+, and the hotel felt cozy with all the amenities I could want. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Portugal.

The area itself wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Our room was poorly kept, smelled horrible, and had torn towels, cheap soap, and a very thin, uncomfortable mattress. Service was just as bad: the front desk didn’t greet us and said 11:30 was too early to check in without a fee. When we asked about the region, they said they had no information. They also forgot to charge us, then called later asking us to come back and pay for the rooms.

The price was very good, and we’d definitely come back. Our room was large and comfortable, with a view toward the castle, thanks to the amazing receptionist Ana Branco, who found us the perfect one. The manager was very friendly too. We were exhausted that day, but the stay was worth it. The bathroom was beautifully decorated, and paintings throughout the room made it feel lovely. Thanks for everything.

The reception staff were so friendly and even suggested places to park and eat. Our room was large, clean, and had everything we needed, including a kettle and little fridge. It’s outside the city centre, though the main square is less than a ten-minute walk away. The carpets weren’t great, and check-in only starts after 4 pm.
