Jose made our family feel so looked after while we were here. He’s a lovely man and an amazing host, and his kindness made this one of the best places we’ve stayed. The three-bedroom villa is fantastic, and he arranges fresh bread each morning. The fridge was stocked with basics, including fresh milk, orange juice, fruit, yogurts, beer, and wine. On arrival, Jose also brought port wine, cheese, and crackers. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

We loved staying here. The garden is beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the pool is great. Breakfast was taken care of each morning, and the complimentary port in the evening was a lovely touch.

Villa Margaridi made for a memorable stay, and I hope to return one day. José and his assistant Hugo made sure we were comfortable and right at home. We enjoyed a little port in the lovely grounds, surrounded by trees and a historic garden. The rooms were clean and modern, with everything we needed. It’s a short walk into town, and Bolt or Uber is easy to get if needed.

We had such a lovely time at Vila Margaridi. The place feels magical, and Jose, the owner, is so kind. I highly recommend it.

A beautiful, magical place with such a relaxing feel. Jose was a fabulous host, and the cozy rooms feel carefully thought through. The only downside is that we wish we could have stayed longer. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you!
