Such a lovely stay!!! The place is clean, nicely furnished with marine pictures, and has a caring, loving atmosphere. It’s close to the port and the diving center.

My family and I loved staying here. The manager, Joana, was incredibly helpful, and Katia made sure the breakfast service was impeccable. The rooms were modern, spacious, and clean. I’d recommend booking one with a view of Pico island.

The rooms were clean, the staff fantastic, breakfast was great, and the price was affordable. Walking around the city and nearby places, then heading back uphill to the hotel, gives you a decent daily workout. The only reason I’m giving four stars is that our room didn’t have AC. We weren’t too bothered, but some people may consider air conditioning more important.

The common area is beautiful and really well organized, and the place itself is modern, clean, cozy, and lovely. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners were nice. I definitely recommend Manta Ray Lodge. The only downside is that there’s no air conditioner in the room.

We spent three nights at Manta Ray Lodge and got to enjoy the view from the terrace of room 7, probably the best one. Everything was just right: it was clean and nicely decorated with beautiful marine animal pictures, and breakfast was hearty.
