The village is peaceful and has lovely views, with enough places to stop for a drink. It's a short walk to the pub or restaurant. We hired the house back in 2013, a long time ago, and now we live in Portugal ourselves. It's a nice house with a great stereo. The host is a friendly woman with lovely stories about what the place was like when she grew up there. At low tide, you can walk to the next village, but the route is very rocky and takes some effort. I wouldn't recommend it.
